OUR STORY

Zawadi Naturals began when my first child’s skin began to suffer.

She was a baby, her skin delicate and inflamed with eczema. At the same time, I was navigating breakouts, exhaustion, and burnout of my own. Nothing on the shelves felt gentle enough, honest enough, or rooted in care.

So I went back.

I returned to the wisdom of my grandmothers. To African beauty rituals that never treated skin in isolation, but as part of the whole body and spirit. I began in my kitchen, making cold-processed soaps by hand, learning how ingredients behaved on real skin. I gently infused oils in sunlight, awakening their potency the way it had always been done. I whipped raw shea by hand and blended by intuition, guided by scent, memory, and generations of knowledge carried quietly by women before me.

What we created healed us both.

After my second child, I realised these creations weren’t just for our home. They were meant to be shared.
